Dee May RGN DMS - Clinical/Managing Director
Dee has been working in the specialism of infection
control since 1987. During that time, she has gained extensive experience
across a broad range of clinical environments. In addition, Dee has held a
variety of posts within the Infection Control Nurses Association including
three years as National Chairman (1994-97). During that time, Dee was

In 1999, Dee left the NHS and worked jointly for the
Royal College of Nursing (as IC specialist advisor) and the Infection
Control Nurses Association (as professional officer), continuing to raise
the profile of the specialism and providing expert guidance to health care
professionals and organisations. She represented the specialism on a wide
variety of working groups including the Department of Health's Advisory
Committee for Dangerous Pathogens (ACDP) and the Joint Working Party of
SEAC (Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee).
Dee has lectured widely both nationally and
internationally and has also published in a wide variety of professional
journals. She is co-editor of the specialist text-book, 'Infection Control
in the Community'.
