Specialist Infection Control Nurse

Martin became the Infection Control Nurse at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in 1996. Whilst working there he completed the Diploma in Professional Sciences in Nursing and ENB 329 and ENB 219. He then moved to the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust where he was the Senior Infection Control Nurse for two years. He then moved to work with the Department of Health within the Directorate of Health and Social Care (London) where he was the Regional Infection Control Nurse for London, a new post dealing with the MRSA bacteraemia surveillance and performing visits to various acute hospital Trusts. He was there for a year and joined Infection Control Solutions Ltd. in 2003.
